⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 kg charcoal in my case burnt for almost 7-8 hours which is pretty amazing It behaved exactly as chemistry textbooks mentioned... Mostly carbon hence, less amount of dangerous smoke. We sat pretty close and felt no discomfort due to smoke. Each piece burnt longer and hotter as compared to coal, though it took a lot of effort and time to ignite the initial charcoal pieces. Tip: place your barbeque chimney over a gas stove for quick burning of charcoal. Because it doesn't burn with kerosene or diesel or petrol. If barbeque chimney not available, use tongs to heat 4-5 pieces over LPG flame. Mind you, each piece needs 4-5 minutes atleast to get ignited from LPG stove. And even then it burns only from the sides.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I mostly used wood charcoal before but it burns really unnecessarily fast. This charcoal lasts longer, provides decent heat and the ash does not spread or fly away after burning. Only complain is that the price is 15-20 Rs/kilo higher than what it is in local market, but since amazon delivered it at home I accepted the price. With a chimney starter, the coal takes 15-20 minutes to start burning, but that's how long it should be.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I purchased this product. By seeing the outer cover and price for 10kg. But the product is delivered in a plastic laminated nylon sack. Thought of to return it, but I promised guest that, there will be barbeque next day. So wished to use it. And it work perfectly as usual. I love this product. It is same hexagonal charcoal block. Not hesitant to buy this again.
